Γεωργία ΚΑΡΑΝΑΣΙΟΥ

Georgia Karanasiou, received her diploma from the Department of Mechanical Engineering & Aeronautics, University of Patras and her Master from the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, University of Ioannina. She has participated in several research projects, National and European.

She is a Senior Researcher of the Unit of Medical Technology & Intelligent Information Systems (Medlab), which is a highly innovative and self-contained research unit strongly activated in the fields of Biomedical Engineering and development of Intelligent Information systems, coordinated by Prof. Fotiadis.

Her biomedical research interests include Multi-scale Predictive modelling, Automated Diagnosis – Processing of Biomedical Signals/Images, Development & Analysis of Wearable Devices, Decision Support Systems, Bioinformatics, Data mining, and Big Data.
